Fossil Hunting

Matthew and I went out on a friend's boat a couple of weekends ago to hunt for fossils on an island in the Savannah River. We spent all day relaxing on the water and walking on the island. We found some pretty cool stuff including two (partial) megalodon shark teeth along with many other teeth from various sharks and other animals.

Lauren's Family boat, we nicknamed it the Teeny-tanic (its so cute!)

Some of the fossils we found.

  1. Wow, those fossils are great! We find a lot of seashell fossils in limerock around here, but never any shark's teeth.
