This week we had a visit from Grandpa Gunzburger to round out our busy and family-filled summer! The girls mostly enjoyed playing with Grandpa in the baby pit and on the couch.
Grandpa also read them lots of new books from Aunt Emily.
Daddy took the day off on Wednesday and we all spent an hour or so at a pool in a nearby neighborhood. We were the only ones there most of the time and the girls loved it, of course. This is the same place we went for a pool party a few weeks ago.
Elsie (left) and Leonie really enjoyed splashing themselves in the face this time. They are much braver at moving around in the water but occasionally tried to crawl in the pool, which caused a face-full of water!
We can't wait until they can walk better, I think they will have even more fun in the water.
And thanks Grandpa for the new wagon (and walker, not pictured), we love it!
